ProfileDr. Sandra Carter has spent the past 30 years dedicated to the improvement of health and wellness at an individual, community and national level. Her career spans experience in Canada and the United States as a teacher, researcher, administrator and entrepreneur. She has advanced Masters degrees in Exercise Physiology (McGill University) and Public Health (UCLA), and a Ph.D. in Preventive Medicine (USC). Her combined knowledge and experience in health behavior, program development and communications provides enormous insight for product development with M2 Ingredients. Dr. Carter has participated in large population studies, supported by the Center for Disease Control and National Institutes of Health. She has extensive corporate health program development and administration experience in a variety of business and government settings through her work with the American Heart Association and UCLA Center for Health Enhancement. As the Administrative Director for Tahoe Forest Health System, Dr. Carter had oversight for multiple departments including Physical Therapy, Community Health, Diabetic Health, Health Promotions, Occupational Health, Sports Performance and Oncology and was a key to the development of a new women’s diagnostic service center. Her administrative experience in health related industry has positioned her to be a dynamic leader for M2 Ingredients.
