As Executive Vice President of Quicksilver Scientific, and second in command, Linda Nielander oversees Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, IT, and People and Culture, providing strategic, visionary leadership on the business side while Founder and CEO Dr. Christopher Shade focuses on the company’s scientific innovation and manufacturing operations.
In 2017, Nielander joined Quicksilver Scientific as Chief Marketing Officer, leading the company’s successful launch into the consumer market and tripling sales in less than two years. In 2019, Nielander was promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing, and in 2021, she stepped into her current Executive Vice President role. Under Nielander’s watch, Quicksilver Scientific’s revenue has grown significantly, reflecting her ability to adapt, innovate, and drive growth even under challenging circumstances such as recent economic headwinds.
Nielander’s unique blend of business skills and deep industry savvy stems from her experience at notable companies like ASICS America and Qwest Communications, Inc., as well as her experience founding her own company. In these roles as well as at Quicksilver Scientific, she has leveraged her business background to create innovative sales and marketing strategies, consistently generating financial growth across diverse industries. Her ability to discern both B2B and B2C customer requirements has been pivotal to her success.
Nielander’s achievements have led to recognition as the winner of the CMO category in Denver Business Journal’s 2019 C-Suite Awards. She played a pivotal role in Quicksilver Scientific’s inclusion in on the Inc. 5000 and DBJ’s Fast 50. Along with 25+ years of business experience, Nielander holds a certificate in digital marketing strategies from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University.
